VOTING INFORMATION: Cleveland Town Hall is an early voting site and voting poll for the 2020 general election. Early voting begins on October 15th and ends on October 31st. Hours are: Monday through Friday – 8:00 am to 7:30 pm, Saturdays – 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Sundays – 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The general election day is November 3rd with polls open from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Healthcare Resources & Benefits Available now in Cleveland & Rowan County: Understanding healthcare resources and benefits available to you and your family is critical to the health of our community. The Town Board heard from nearly 200 residents in early 2020 through surveys and focus groups the desire to know about community resources and amenities provided in our Town and throughout West Rowan. The Town Board invites you to join Rowan County EMS and Carolina Caring for a free workshop entitled Here to Help You Live Better. This program is designed to bring to life Healthcare Resources and Benefits now available in our community and address the vital importance of advance health care planning during the COVID pandemic. The first workshop will be offered on August 18, 2020. For your convenience, additional workshop sessions will be offered throughout the year. CORONAVIRUS: STATE OF EMERGENCY DECLARATION WITHIN THE TOWN OF CLEVELAND AND ROWAN COUNTY: On March 20th, the Town joined with Rowan County in issuing this declaration due to the imminent threat of widespread or severe damage, injury, or loss of life due to COVID-19 (coronavirus). RECYCLING UPDATE: As of January 1, 2020, glass bottles and jars are no longer picked up with your recycling. Put all glass in your garbage can.
- The Rowan Public Library has started a Cleveland Outreach Program in Cleveland. Books are available for citizens to check out and bring back when finished reading. Please limit 3 books per person. A sign out book is provided. A variety of books are available including children, youth, fiction and non-fiction. The library is located beside Town Hall in the green building and is open from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on days when Town Hall is open. As of March 31, 2020, the library is closed due to the State Stay At Home Order due to the Coronavirus emergency going on.
